欧阳桢，香港岭南大学英文、翻译、人文、通识教育荣休教授，美国印第安纳大学东亚语言文化比较文学之荣誉教授。早年求学于哈佛大学、哥伦比亚大学，并于印第安纳大学获比较文学博士学位。为《中国文学：随笔、文章、评论》（CLEAR ）联合创刊人，出版有《透明之眼：对翻译、中国文学和比较诗学的反思》《多彩之衣：一之少数对多样性霸权反思》《双面镜：全球本土化语境之下的跨文化研究》和《创造性的前景与前提：比较文学为何重要》等著作。曾任美国比较文学学会主席、国际比较文学学会跨文化研究委员会主席、国际现代语言文学联盟副主席，并任英国皇家艺术、制造和商业促进学会研究员。

Eugene Chen EOYANG is Professor Emeritus of English, Translation, Humanities, and General Education at Lingnan University in Hong Kong as well as Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literature and of East Asian Languages & Cultures at Indiana University in the US. With a B.A. from Harvard College and an M.A. from Columbia University in English Literature, he earned his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Indiana University. A co-founder of the journal CLEAR, he has published several monographs, including The Transparent Eye: Reflections on Translation, Chinese Literature, and Comparative Poetics, Coat of Many Colors: Reflections on Diversity by a Minority of One, Two-Way Mirrors: Cross-Cultural Perspectives in Glocalization and The Promise and Premise of Creativity: Why Comparative Literature Matters. He was elected President of the American Comparative Literature Association, Chair of the Intercultural Studies Committee of the International Comparative Literature Association, and Vice President of the Fédération Internationale des Langues et Littératures Modemes. He has been admitted as a Fellow to the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Commerce, and Merchandise.
