陈惇(1934—),北京师范大学文学院比较文学与世界文学教授,中国比较文学学会顾问,曾长期担任中国比较文学学会副会长兼组织委员会主任、中国比较文学学会教学研究会首任会长。他是20世纪中后期中国比较文学复兴的积极参与者,此后长期致力于比较文学的学科建设和教材建设,并积极推动各地的比较文学教学。主编与合著的《比较文学》《比较文学概论》等著作多次获奖,并被广泛采用。2015年获中国比较文学学会授予的“中国比较文学研究终身成就奖”。
CHEN Dun (b. 1934) is Professor of Comparative Literature and World Literature at the School of Chinese Language and Literature at Beijing Normal University. Among the list of his notable achievements and appointments, CHEN is Honorary Advisor for the Chinese Comparative Literature Association (CCLA); previous Vice President of CCLA and Director of the Association’s Organizing Committee; and the inaugural President of the Teaching Research Society of CCLA. An active participant in the revival of Chinese Comparative Literature during the late twentieth century, he has a long history of dedication to the formation of the discipline of comparative literature and its pedagogical development. He has edited and co-authored numerous multiple-award-winning and well-received monographs, including Comparative Literature and An Introduction to Comparative Literature. In 2015, the CCLA awarded CHEN the Lifetime Academic Achievement Award in recognition of his distinguished contributions to the field of Chinese Comparative Literature.
