唐丽园,哈佛大学列文讲席教授,东亚语言与文明教授,曾任哈佛比较文学系主任、亚洲研究中心主任、全球研究所环境人文与社会科学项目主任、哈佛燕京学社东亚区域研究奖学金项目主任,兼任比较文学与东亚区域研究研究生部主任。主要研究领域为比较和世界文学,环境和医学人文学科。已出版3部有关文学与文化史的著作、多部合编卷与多达70余篇相关论述。她的著作曾荣获多项重要国际奖项。唐丽园教授目前的项目包括关于亚洲女性主义、全球精神健康与全球不平等的书籍。
Karen L. Thornber is Harry Tuchman Levin Professor in Literature and Professor of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University. Thornber has served in a variety of leadership roles at Harvard, including Chair of the Department of Comparative Literature, Victor and William Fung Director of the Harvard Asia Center, Director of the Harvard Global Institute Environmental Humanities and Social Sciences Initiative, Chair of the Program in Regional Studies East Asia (RSEA), and Director of Graduate Studies in both Comparative Literature and RSEA. Her primary areas of research and teaching are comparative and world literature, and the environmental and medical humanities. Professor Thornber is author of three major scholarly monographs, along with multiple (co)edited volumes and more than seventy articles/chapters on a range of fields in literature and cultural history globally.She has received numerous international honors and awards over the past years for her books. Professor Thornber’s current projects include books on Asian Feminisms; and Global Mental Health and Inequality.
